About Clay Road Press

Clay Road Press was founded in 2004 in an upstairs room of a newly built home in the exurbs of Maryland (Taneytown, to be exact) where the roads had yet to be paved, which at the time seemed fitting for a brand new venture. The company quickly established itself as a provider of original content for print and electronic media outlets and eventually became an outlet for content that was unable find a home elsewhere. Today Clay Road Press envisions itself as an anti-anti-establishment publishing house that serves as an outlet for writers with unique perspectives who find the so-called "anti-establishment" houses (that all seem to be located in Brooklyn) to be just as creatively impotent as the old Manhattan publishing houses they originally railed against. After many years and many stops along the way, Clay Road Press has found a home in White Plains, NY.
